888 Calling Cards
LLD offers an "888" Calling Card, which can be used anytime
and anywhere in the continental U. S., at a flat rate of 25 cents
per minute. The cards are open-ended, with an unlimited number of
minutes available. Each card uses an 888 number and a specific,
individual PIN number that, essentially, "connects" to
your Lackawaxen account, billing the charges back to your home number.
The LLD 888 card offers enhanced security, since you don’t
have to input your home telephone or calling-card number, thus decreasing
the chances of fraud or misuse. Furthermore, you are only billed
for charges you make while using this card. If you lose the card,
you won’t lose any minutes — simply call the Lackawaxen
office to report your card lost.
